Happy Mother’s Day!
Looking for a last minute gift for the mom in your life? The market has a great gift options. Stop by Lee J Garden or Vangs Flower Garden to pick up a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Remember to come early to get the best pick of the flowers. We also have two great jewelry vendors. Donna’s Crochet Necklaces has colorful crochet necklaces with pendants. Wirefraud has a variety of beaded jewelry. Pamper your mother with some locally made lotions, soaps, lip balms and candles from Wild For Oregon (Something Green Soaps). If gardening is your mom’s thing, stop by Mountainside Herbal Nursery to kick start your mom’s garden.
Join us at 11 AM and 12 PM for a cooking demo from Wholey Gardener. She will be doing a recipe with asparagus.
Our Market Sprout Kids Club will be on the hunt for Moo Moo the cow. She will be hidden in the market and the kids will need to use the clue to find her. They will also have the opportunity to color a picture for their mother or grandmother.
We will have two nonprofits at the market this weekend. Stop by the community booth to hear about what is going on with the City of Tigard. Also, the Good Neighbor Center will be at the market. Stop by their booth to learn about the great service that they provide for our homeless families.
Here are the vendors that will be at the market this Sunday. If you want to map out your plan for shopping, the market map can be found here.
